Implants

The most natural and effective solution to missing teeth, implants can last a lifetime if good oral hygiene is maintained.

A tiny titanium screw fuses with your jawbone and surrounding tissues to create a foundation for your new tooth to be fixed onto. It can take as little as 6 weeks to regain your smile and the procedure can be done under the same anaesthetic used for other common dental procedures.

Implants are designed to look and feel just like your natural teeth, so even you might forget that they aren’t!

How long will they last?

Your dental implants won’t decay over time unlike natural teeth can, and as long as a good dental hygiene regime is maintained to ensure gums are kept healthy, your new implants should last a lifetime.

What will they feel like?

Implants are designed to look and feel just like your own teeth, they should blend in seamlessly with your natural smile.

Is it painful and are there any side effects?

We use local anaesthetic in our implant procedures to ensure there is no discomfort during the treatment, however there may be some minimal discomfort once this has worn off which you can maintain with normal painkillers. In the long term, implants are a much more comfortable solution to missing teeth when compared to dentures, because they are fixed and they don’t cause any irritation to your gums and mouth.
